MANIBUS MAGISTRI EUTM UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is a technology development and intellectual property management company headquartered at the Bayreuth Start-up Centre (BGZ) in Germany.

MANIBUS MAGISTRI collaborates with Neue Materialien Bayreuth GmbH (NMB) in preparing the initial material and process validation phase for the PHAETRON® platform.

Even modern boatbuilding relies on separately manufactured hull shells, frames, water ducts and equipment foundations — specifically engineered and assembled for each and every boat and model.

PHAETRON® integrates these functions and electric waterjet propulsion into a common carbon-fibre monocoque platform adaptable to multiple boat models. The walls of its water ducts, propulsion and battery compartments carry hull and propulsion loads, reducing components, joints and weight while freeing up capacity for energy sources or payload.

Higher upfront engineering, tooling and process development costs can be amortised across a product family, while integration reduces assembly work per hull. The electric drivetrain allows flexible power supply: batteries, a diesel-generator hybrid system or, in future, fuel cells using green hydrogen.

We are now taking this architecture, the subject of two independent patent claims, into hydrodynamic, structural and manufacturing validation.
